Yes i tried to install the original asus GT740M driver but just like the original 650M driver i get the error that that the driver could not find compatible hardware and it's not only in windows 10 but also in windows 7. (Code 43)Īnd I can't install the original bios update with winflash because it says that this is the wrong model, that's why my questions if it's possible to force the bios update even when it says wrong model and would it break my laptop if i do C: is there an easy way to check the motherboard model number, because it's not so easy to open the laptop and i never did it before. Or is it possible to force the original N56VZ bios update because it is the same chip so it shouldn't be a problem i think. If the bios is the problem, do i have to get the bios chip out of the laptop and let it replaced or reprogrammed again? The N56VB has a different graphics card then the N56VZ so maybe that is the problem. today i found out that the bios says "Model: N56VB" instead of N56VZ. my bios chip got a few months ago broken and got replaced by a shop. Now i looked up on the internet and found a site where they say that the bios(chip) may cause the problem. I even reinstalled windows 7 agian and tried the official driver but it didn't help. no matter what driver i install it won't work.
